Ahanas was founded in 1999 by Rahin Pavithran, a passionate sculptor and graduate of the College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum. What began as an artistic pursuit soon evolved into a full-fledged design studio, blending creativity with functionality.
Over the past 25 years, Ahanas has grown into a trusted name in interior design and architecture. The foundation of this growth lies in a deep understanding of space, form, and artistic expression. A key strength of Ahanas is its collaborative spirit. Sheela Rahin, with her background in botany and expertise in civil engineering and interior design, brings a unique nature-inspired approach to every project. Her work emphasizes sustainability, landscape integration, and harmony with the environment.
In 2017, Navath Rahin joined the team, introducing a modern and global design perspective. With education from DJ Academy of Design and Domus Academy, Milan, Navath blends contemporary aesthetics with practical living solutions.
