About Ahanas

‘Ahanas’ means the “radiant energy of the morning Sun” in Sanskrit.

And like the Sun fills every new day with hopes and promises, we design spaces which will radiate the hopes and promises of our clients.

We have been designing spaces since 1999. Originality and innovation has been two of our core values and we’ve stuck true to them by working closely with our clients to arrive at their story.

The aspect of design, structure and above all joy have led to an extension of Ahanas in the patisserie world with 'Pavis'. Crafting premium quality dessert and customised cakes, Pavis led by our MD's daughter Ahana Rahin is a special venture for us. We truly believe in design being a way of life.

Rahin believes that a design masterpiece expresses the client’s story, showcasing the culture and flavour of the region. He believes in talking to his clients, understanding their story, and then moving on to the drawing board. And yes, he quite literally moves to the drawing board! From layout to locking, he sticks to sketches. He likes experimenting with materials to create works that are unique and inspirational.

Rahin interacts actively with younger designers - guiding them and exchanging ideas. As an artist, he is always on the lookout for fresh ideas and tires to incorporate the latest trends while sticking to his aesthetic roots. Rahin is also an eco warrior and ensures that his art leaves a low carbon footprint. All of these factors lead to interiors that look less like a building and more like a canvas of modern art.
